About

Meet Chris.

Lead broker, lifelong sailor, and the person you'll actually be speaking to.

Chris on the water

Chris is a 30-year-old English broker based on the south coast in Southampton. He grew up on the Solent, started crewing yachts as a teenager, and has spent the last ten years working on, around and selling boats — from weekend dayboats to ocean-going motor yachts.

Before founding the brokerage side of Bow & Co., Chris spent five years running yard operations and another four managing a small charter fleet across the UK and Mediterranean. That hands-on background means he knows what to look for in a hull, what to ask a surveyor, and — just as importantly — what's worth paying for and what isn't.

His approach is simple: honest valuations, no jargon, no pressure. If a boat isn't right for you, he'll tell you. If yours is priced too high, he'll tell you that too. It's slower than the hard-sell approach, but it's why most of his clients come back — or send a friend.

When he isn't viewing boats or running sea trials, he's usually on his own — a 32ft cruiser called Halcyon — somewhere between Cowes and Dartmouth.
